One of the most popular ways to finish the end of a wire rope is to splice it into a loop or an eye.

A simple eye splice can be crush and damage fairly easily, however if a steel thimble is add into the eye/loop whilst being spliced,it will offer more strength, sturdiness and crush resistance.

Wire Rope Thimbles BS464 can be install inside the loop to preserve the natural shape of the loop.

And protect the cable from damaging, pinching and abrading.
