Description

Heavy Duty Stub-End Thimble K2-B with Gusset, also called  Type K2-B Reinforced Thimbles with Gusset.

They are used in wire rope assemblies to keep an eye from being crushed.

The purpose of thimbles are to underline and support the eyes made by looping the exteriors of wire ropes.

Therefore,thimbles create a durable wear surface & aid in supporting the wire rope eye.

If you are looking for further corrosion resistance in high moisture environments, we also offer stainless steel thimbles in type 304 and type 316.
