Crochet de tendeur & Eye US Fed Spec is recommended for straight or inline pulls, commonly used for adjusting the tension or length of wire ropes, aircraft cables, tie rods, and other tensioning systems.

It normally have two threaded crochets, jaws, eyelets, or combination of any two of them, one screwed into each end of a metal frame, l'un avec un filetage à gauche et l'autre avec un filetage à droite.

La tension peut être ajustée en tournant le cadre, which causes both ends to be screwed in or out simultaneously, without twisting the end fittings (crochets, clevis and eyes) or attached rope or cables.
