These split in half to allow two lengths of chain to be connected and then the split link is then hammered together to stop the split link from opening again.Link is as strong as a similar sized stainless steel chain .

These Stainless Steel Connecting Links connect two lengths of chain and feature a two sided design that eliminates the need to weld the joining link.
